Our Impact
We believe in honest, transparent, and independently reviewed impact measurement. Every program, initiative, and partnership is evaluated against clear metrics to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
Impact Is Earned, Not Claimed
At Cotocus Foundation, we believe that true impact is earned through rigorous measurement, honest reporting, and a steadfast commitment to transparency. We do not publish vanity metrics or unverified claims. Every data point we share is backed by a clear methodology and, wherever possible, independent third-party review.
Our impact framework is designed from the ground up to prioritize accountability over optics. We define what success looks like before launching a program, collect data systematically throughout its lifecycle, and engage external reviewers to validate our findings before publication.
Impact data will be published as foundation programs are launched and independently reviewed. We update this page as new verified results become available, ensuring our stakeholders always have access to the most current and accurate picture of our work.
What We Publish
Our commitment to you
- Methodology: Clear documentation of how each metric is defined, collected, and calculated.
- Verification: Independent review of data and claims before publication.
- Updates: Annual publication of verified impact data as programs mature.
- Feedback: Open channels for stakeholders to question or challenge our reported impact.
How We Measure Impact
Our four-stage measurement process ensures that every impact claim is grounded in rigorous methodology, independent verification, and full transparency.
Define Metrics
Before any program launches, we define clear, measurable impact metrics aligned with our strategic pillars. Each metric includes a precise definition, data source, collection frequency, and target threshold. This upfront rigor ensures we measure what truly matters and avoid retrospective justification.
Collect Data
Data is collected systematically throughout each program lifecycle using standardized tools and processes. We employ both quantitative methods (surveys, platform analytics, pre/post assessments) and qualitative approaches (interviews, focus groups, case documentation) to capture a holistic picture of outcomes.
Independent Review
Before any impact data is published, it undergoes independent review by qualified external evaluators. This review validates our methodology, checks data integrity, and provides an unbiased assessment of whether our claims are supported by evidence. We publish reviewer credentials alongside our data.
Publish Transparently
Verified impact data is published on this page alongside full methodological notes, data collection instruments, and reviewer statements. We disclose both successes and areas for improvement, demonstrating our commitment to honest reporting. Data is updated annually or as new programs reach verified milestones.
Foundation Impact at a Glance
The following metrics represent our current impact across all program areas. Figures shown are independently verified and published annually.
Our Goals
We have set ambitious yet achievable milestones for the growth and deepening of our impact over the next five years.
Foundation & Pilot Programs
Establish the foundation's operational infrastructure, launch 2-3 pilot programs across education and community pillars, onboard initial partner organizations, recruit founding volunteer network, and publish the first impact methodology framework.
Scale & Deepen
Expand programs to reach 5-10 communities across multiple regions, launch research initiatives in AI for social good and digital inclusion, open the first innovation lab, grow the volunteer network to 500+ members, and publish the first independently reviewed annual impact report.
Sustainable Ecosystem
Establish a self-sustaining ecosystem of programs spanning all five pillars, with measurable impact across thousands of learners and dozens of communities. Launch multiple innovation labs, build a global partner network spanning academia, industry, and government, and demonstrate replicable models for social impact through technology.
Case Studies
As our programs mature, we will publish in-depth case studies that document our impact with real stories, data, and independent analysis. Here is a preview of the case study categories we are developing.
Digital Literacy Program Impact
A detailed examination of how our digital literacy programs have transformed lives in underserved communities. This case study will track learner outcomes before and after program participation, document skill acquisition, and share personal narratives from participants, instructors, and community leaders.
AI for Social Good Fellowship
An in-depth look at our AI for Social Impact Fellowship program, featuring projects developed by fellows, the social challenges they addressed, the technical solutions they built, and the measurable outcomes achieved. This case study will also explore the program's model for fostering ethical AI innovation.
Community Partnership Model
A comprehensive analysis of our community partnership model, examining how collaboration with local organizations, academic institutions, and government bodies amplifies impact. This case study will document partnership structures, shared value creation, challenges overcome, and replicable frameworks for other foundations.
